What we measure

A 360° view of your gut—at strain level.

Most consumer microbiome tests use 16S rRNA sequencing, which can only resolve gut microbes to the genus level. Enbiosis uses whole-genome (shotgun) sequencing, which reads the full genetic code of every microbe in your sample.

Strain-level resolution

We identify microbes down to the strain, not just genus. Two bacteria from the same family can have radically different effects on you.
